The French Book Shop is pleased to announce an art exhibition of oil paintings by Janette Maxey and is her first solo exhibition in Singapore.

 The exhibition includes observational still life and interior arrangements. In each painting Maxey focuses on rhythmic color and compositional harmony using everyday objects.

My name is Janette Maxey I am an American painter working in gouache and oils. I learn about the world through painting everyday objects, people and places.

I was born in California, raised in Connecticut, and have been living in Singapore since June 2009. In addition to a AS in Fine Art from Tunxis, I have a BFA from Hartford Art School. Exhibitions in Singapore and USA.
